Five distinctive drawings capture the physical presence of their subjects with line, shape and contrast. Made using careful observation, these works accurately describe the human form. Taken a step beyond the precision of draftsmanship, images come to life energized by fluid gestures and dynamic intricacies.
Three colorfully layered paintings present complex relationships that interweave sensations of light, space and movement. With a refined degree of technical knowhow, these works may allude to distinct personalities or familiar places. Colors define the mood – from the joy of a bright noon sky to the tension of a cool shadowy reflection.
