The Department of Art and Art History is proud to present Blooming Resilience. The exhibition takes place in a virtual version of the Harris Gallery and includes pieces by the Painting I and Painting II classes from this spring semester. Adaptation and discovery are key ingredients as these students’ paintings emphasize that creativity can lead the way forward. Some pieces were made with traditional painting materials; other works have incorporated mixed media or digital practices; all of these paintings have a unique identity. Blooming Resilience shows us our culturally rich campus in a new way: how students’ ideas express togetherness while we are apart.
