Computer Science and Computer Engineering

The mission of the Computer Science and Computer Engineering (CSCE) Department is to provide an opportunity for undergraduate students to achieve their highest potential and prepare them for their academic, professional, and personal growth through a well-balanced undergraduate program covering theory, application, research, and practice.

Academic Programs

Computer Science provides a variety of majors, minors, and certificates to La Verne students across multiple campuses. In addition to the Computer Science major and its four concentrations – engineering, information science, internet programming, and software – the university offers degrees in E-Commerce and Information Technology. Certificates in Systems Engineering and Web Applications Development are also excellent ways to remain competitive in a burgeoning and select industry.

For those seeking an online Information Technology degree, La Verne’s Bachelor’s in Information Technology can also be completed entirely online.
