International travel is an important part of becoming an educated citizen in a globalized world. With this in mind, Dr. Kimberly Martin, Dr. Sharon Davis and Dr. Hilarie Kelly lead short term international travel courses in sociology and anthropology to different countries during January Interterm, Spring Break and/or during the summer.
Egypt, India, Spain and Morocco are some of the destinations for our students in the past. These trips included a variety of activities including visits to natural, cultural and historic sites, open air markets, rural villages, farms and schools, universities, places of worship, archaeological sites, artisan workshops and much more.
