Caleb Uitvlugt
Completed Masters degree in analytical chemistry at Penn State. For my thesis research I have utilized nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) spectroscopy on liquid and solid-state systems, infrared (IR) spectroscopy, wide angle x-ray scattering (WAXS), and Raman spectroscopy. I also served as a technician in the Chemistry Department’s NMR facility. There I maintained 10 NMR instruments, trained students on how to analyze samples, and used 2-D techniques to analyze samples for offsite academic and industrial research groups.
Prior to graduate school, I worked in the analytical research and development department of Perrigo. I was trained to follow good manufacturing practices (GMPs) in line with FDA regulations, helped in developing methods to be used in standard operating procedures (SOPs) for dissolution, and analyzed samples via HPLC and atomic absorption (AA) spectroscopy.
