The Neher Montana Research Station is located 1000 miles North of the La Verne main campus and 43 miles east of Missoula, Montana. It consists of several parcels.
The Magpie Ranch is the base of operations and is located at 7 Buck Lane, Drummond, MT 59832, 43 miles East of Missoula. The ranch is centrally located in the Rocky Mountains of western Montana, and is about a 3.5 hour drive to both Yellowstone and Glacier National Parks.
Magpie Ranch sits on 20 acres along the Clark Fork River, with a 5-acre parcel of direct access to the Clark Fork River. The Baldy Base site is 160 acres of forested mountainside, and is about a 30-minute drive into the hills from Magpie Ranch.
