The University of La Verne Theatre Arts Department has partnered with The London Academy of Music and Dramatic Arts<\/a>, one of the premiere acting conservatories in the United Kingdom. After completing an acting studio sequence here, select La\u00a0Verne theatre students may be recommended to study Classical Acting and experience the rigors of conservatory training for a semester in London, utilizing La\u00a0Verne\u2019s financial aid package and receiving University of La\u00a0Verne credit.<\/p>\n

The Classical Acting course is:<\/p>\n

\u201cBased on the work of Shakespeare and either Jacobean or English Comedy of Manners playwrights, this course is designed to deepen students\u2019 engagement with classical texts and develop their skills.
