Curriculum<\/b><\/span><\/h2>\n

The Photography Program within the Department of Art & Art History at the University of La Verne offers undergraduate-level courses that develop technical, critical and conceptual skills for a practice-based approach to the medium. The combined curriculum of analog and digital photographic methods provides the students with a full technical and theoretical grounding necessary for maintaining an artistic practice while refining the practical skills applicable to building a photographic career in the artistic, commercial and\/or media fields. <\/span><\/p>\n

Careers<\/b><\/h2>\n

The Photography Program offers a multifaceted instructional approach to the medium, including traditional forms of image making and conceptually oriented practices, that teaches creatives how to develop their individual aesthetic and market themselves with confidence. Whether they choose to continue their education after graduation and pursue a Masters of Fine Arts, begin their own studio practice or work for a company, our graduates have applied the skills they built at ULV to a variety of positions and fields.
