Offered through the <strong>CWRT 305 <\/strong>course, students work alongside faculty as editors, evaluating and choosing the best material from many hundreds of annual literary submissions. Work on <em>Prism Review<\/em> also focuses on what makes appropriate content for a contemporary literary journal. This hands-on approach allows for a degree of intimacy with the process few other programs can match.<\/p>\n<p>Some courses may also focus on the concept of interviewing, as students read interviews with writers and then interview a contemporary author; students also write capsule reviews of two current literary books, also to run in the next issue.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Prism Review is the literary journal of the Creative Writing program at the University of La&nbsp;Verne.
