The equipment available to the Chemistry Department is extensive, especially when compared to similar liberal arts institutions. The hands-on experience students get, often not possible at a larger university, gives them a definite edge in understanding the practical and theoretical aspects of chemistry, as well as competing in today\u2019s job market.
